Blinds??

We had our Pre-Dry Wall Meeting today! It was sooo awesome! I'll post a more detailed update and pics tomorrow (it's been an exhausting, but good, day!)
We stopped by Next Day Blinds today just because I wanted to see what options were out there....ummmm WHY are blinds sooo expensive!!!!!?!!??!

I would really like to NOT give up my dreams of Plantation Shutters just yet! So if anyone knows of any wearhouses on the East Coast where we can get better prices, please do share!

  1. How exciting...is this your first time inside?

Did you ever get over to the furniture store in Delaware? I've been so busy with work that my wife and I have not had the opportunity to run down there to see what the pricing is like.

  2. I agree. Blinds are super expensive unless you get them at like Target or Walmart. =/

Good luck on the shutters! If I find anything I'll let you know!

  3. I have not even started shopping on the blinds so once you find something let me know! I have been focusing more on trying to find a ref. and ceiling fans. I have been leaning more towards curtains but who knows I have been going back and forth.

  4. BD, haven't had a chance to get to Delaware just yet. We decided to postpone the road trip due to these INSANE gas prices! This was a first time inside, so it was really special!

Stephanie, ceiling fans also crossed my mind and I should probably be focusing on that since summer is approaching! We may just have to deal with temporary blinds for a while. I want curtains and blinds! :)

  8. They're expensive, but make a huge differene once they're up. We're going to add curtains eventually, but for now the blinds do the trick.

  10. Blinds are expensive but there are some great deals out there that don't require you to sacrifice quality for price.
